evolution's Channel Manager (eCM) is fully integrated within the evolution Demand Manager (eDM), taking the concept of channel management to a new level. This has two key benefits:

The Channel Manager works with the widest selection of direct connects on the market.
When a booking is made by an online travel agent (OTA), the central reservations system (CRS) is automatically updated, reducing administrative time and increasing inventory management.
All the information on one screen
evolution's two-way interface with the major OTAs allows reservations to be delivered to the CRS, giving you a holistic overview of all hotel reservations. A single view of all inventory not only allows you to manage your allocations more effectively, but also provides powerful centralised reports, which aide in better strategic revenue management decisions.

Unlike other CRS systems that have been developed with the GDS's in mind and therefore work on commissionable rates, evolution was developed specifically for nett rate distribution . This development is significant for hotels managing multiple OTA agreements as the system offers the following key benefits:
- Hotels can load multiple rate plans per room type for a single OTA channel
- Hotels can manage allocations for these multiple rate plans within the system and can open and close the allocation per rate plan for a single room type

If your hotel already has a contract in place with one of our channels you can still choose to come under our chain level agreement and take advantage of the opportunities we have negotiated. Your hotel will get at least the same commercial terms you have already and many extra benefits in terms of operations and merchandising.
